Resume Templates
Choose a professional resume design that parsers can still read.
- Runs in your browser
- No upload required
- Free, no signup
Four ATS-friendly designs. Every preview below is rendered from one sample resume by the same engine the builder uses — no screenshots, no mock-ups. Open any one full size to judge it, then your own content is drawn in that style.
Which one should you pick?
Your resume is processed locally in your browser whenever possible. We do not store your resume data on our server.
Almost every "free template" you find online is a Word file that quietly breaks the moment you change a line, or a two-column design that a parser turns into scrambled text. These templates are different: they are rendered live in the browser from the same set of data, so changing template never means reformatting anything.
Each preview below uses sample content so you can judge the layout honestly. Pick the one that matches your field, then start writing — you can switch again at any point without losing a single line.
How to use this tool
- Scroll through the four templates and look at how dense or airy each one feels.
- Check the ATS suitability badge if you are applying through an online portal.
- Press Use This Template to open the resume maker with that design already selected.
- Fill in your details and switch template again whenever you like — your data stays as it is.
Frequently asked questions
Are these templates actually free?
Yes. All four are free, with no signup, no download limit and no watermark added to your resume.
What makes a template ATS-friendly?
A single column, standard section headings such as Experience and Education, real selectable text instead of images, and no text boxes, tables or decorative graphics that a parser has to guess at. Classic ATS is built to those rules.
Can I switch templates after writing my resume?
Yes, and you should feel free to. The content and the design are kept completely separate, so switching redraws the same data in a different style. Nothing is reformatted by hand and no text is lost.
Can I edit the templates myself?
You can change colours, spacing and fonts from the template settings in the resume maker, and you can export your data as JSON to reuse elsewhere. The template source itself is part of this site rather than a separate file you download.
Will a two-column template hurt my application?
It can. Some parsers read columns in the wrong order and produce sentences that jump between them. Modern Professional keeps two columns only in the header area for that reason, and Classic ATS avoids them completely.
